US producer price index rose 0.6% in Oct, vs 0.2% rise expected

The U.S. producer price index jumped in October, its biggest monthly gain since September 2012.

Producer prices rose 0.6 percent in the month. PPI was expected to show an increase of 0.2 percent in October, in line with the prior month’s rise.
